It is about the social praxis and the distinct aspects of the world of a transgender subject, considering performativity, identity and gender aspects. As an analytical corpus there is the Brazilian funk Bixa Travesti which offers itself linguistic-textual and discursive conditions about representations of oneself and the world.
This paper aims at presenting the social praxis and the distinct aspects of the world of a transgender subject. In order to carry out this research we used the theoretical-methodological contribution of Critical Discourse Analysis from the perspective of language as constituted of the social practice. Throughout our argumentative discussion, we have considered performativity, identity and gender aspects of the transgender subject. Concerning identity, we argue that subjects are performativizing and performatized beings, not carriers of stable and unchanging identities. The performative act, designated as body act and speech act, is only operationalized if speaking subject is considered as an integral part of performativity. This prerogative leads us to the issue of gender, in which bodies, which performatize female marks in male genitalia and vice versa, can cause phobias on the part of heterocracy. Transsexuality is an inevitable unfolding of a gender order that establishes the intelligibility of gender in the body. Transsexuality, travestility and transgender would be identities that stand out for highlighting gestures that break causality and stability between sex / gender / desire, in which the existence of the possibilities of performativities inoculate the masculine, male, female and female designations of new meanings. As an analytical corpus there is the funk lyric Bixa Travesti which offers itself linguistic-textual and discursive conditions about representations of oneself and the world. It is through the lexical category that actions, feelings, beliefs identify how human actions are performed in the discourse – social-political positions of the transgender subject. The analytical findings indicate the relevance of the discursive-lexical analysis as a way to represent ideas and events as well as the inevitability of intensifying, in and out of the academy, debates and projects that envisage and make transgender people´s lives fairer.
